When it comes to fashion, there are many differences that vary between economic classes in terms of taste and affordability. Obviously, a stereotype revolves around upper class families having more money, thus having a higher end taste in clothing and materialistic possessions; where lower class families tend to not be as brand conscious and are more focused on saving money where and when they can. There are some clothing lines, however, that tend to be desirable by each economic class, regardless of their differences in preference and finances; the most prevalent being Nike.

Nike clothing has long been a classic and widely accepted brand. From being featured in various movies to receiving regular endorsements by professional athletes, Nike has long been a favorite for many. This clothing line in particular is something that provides a choice for everyone, regardless of preference. From more simplistic styles that are meant more so for comfort during physical activity, to more high end and stylish pieces such as performance enhanced shoes and or equipment, Nike appeals to each end of the spectrum.

While in fact the brand itself can be expensive in some cases, seemingly turning off lower class families whom are not as brand conscious and more focused on saving money, there are still many affordable choices. In addition to affordability, Nike offers a wide array of high end clothing that revolves around providing a modern and sleek styling element while simultaneously promoting comfort for the individuals utilizing the clothes. These more modern choices tend to also be at the higher end of the price scale, appealing more so to upper class consumers.
